Fortin Offers Hints for Writing Articles and Blog Posts

Copywriter Michael Fortin's latest blog post covers his 4-step system for creating articles and/or blog posts. The second step of his system is where Fortin creates the article's skeleton outline. "This allows me to see, at a glance, the flow of the article and then reorganize them so there’s a better structure and organization of ideas", says Fortin. "As you know, some points within an article are best mentioned in strategic locations within the article, and the outline allows me to do exactly that, even before I start writing." Michel Fortin on How to Effectively Use Pressure in Your Copy

In his recent blog post, copywriter Michel Fortin offers pointers on the appropriate use of pressure in your copy. As Fortin elaborates, "Never pressure people to PUSH them into purchasing. Instead, use pressure to PREVENT them from procrastinating." Fortin continues by adding, "As the saying goes, 'People don't know how much they want something until it's about to be taken away from them.' Look at it this way: if you give a chance for your prospects to procrastinate, they will." Fortin also emphasizes the need to have a genuine 'reason why' to back up your use of pressure, and offers suggestions on how to maintain your credibility in the process. Michel Fortin on Real Mastermind Groups

Master copywriter Michel Fortin talks about mastermind groups versus support groups, and how the difference is crucial. Fortin writes, "Many people automatically assume that a group of people wanting the same thing is the same as a group of people doing the same thing or thinking the same way. Not true, and I’ll come back to this. The premise behind Hill’s lesson is not to have a group of likeminded people, but a mastermind group. The difference is subtle, but significant."
