Willie Crawford is reporting that a few people "have noticed a big drop in the Clickbank accounts recently, and upon logging in, noticed that the price on many of their products had been reset to ZERO." Crawford suspects the problems may be related to the company's recent system upgrades.

So, if you sell products on Clickbank, log on to your Clickbank account and take a look at your product settings, including price.

ClickBank has released a slew of updates to its system this week including an improved account management system, promotion tracking, and a transaction analysis tool (beta). The redesigned account management system includes updated navigation, more comprehensive reporting, and new application features to improve publisher productivity. The Tracking Code enhancement allows affiliates to add an 8-character identifier to the hoplink and order process to accurately track and manage campaigns. On his Internet Business Journal blog, Mark Quarles outlines a "hole" in 1ShoppingCart that can allow technically savvy visitors to your website to purchase your products for much less that what you have intended.  Mark provides the full details in this post, however the gist of the problem is by not deleting old testing URLs once shopping cart testing has completed.  This problem can also apply to Clickbank Item ID URLs as well.
